Wassup With The Vet Who Did Not Vet

I could write about alot of heavy stuff that is happening in the U.S. and the fact that the next week may be one of the most anxious in American history.

I could write about racist hoaxes, idiotic and insulting interviews from wingnut reporters who are Fox News wannabes. Or how about a $150,000 wardrobe from Neiman Marcus (Needless Mark-Ups)?

*lol* I loved the "Wassup" video. Were those the same guys from the Budweiser commercial?

I hear the most news about Ohio and Pennsylvania. North Carolina is only in the news because it usually goes Republican, but might go Democrat this time. I don't know about Tennessee...is it really that close there? I was a bit annoyed because McCain essentially conceded Michigan and pulled out several weeks ago - it's just that Michigan could use the attention, since we've been in a one-state recession for years already. :-/

No, the election is probably not close in Tennessee, except for the wishful thinking of every Democrat in the state. However, I will be ecstatic if Georgia and North Carolina, our neighboring states, go Blue.

I don't think anyone will ever understand why McCain pulled out of Michigan. I think that's a head-scratcher for both sides, and will be discussed in numerous books for years to come as a strategic mistake. It's such a big and diverse state, with just as many large cities as Ohio. I'm still baffled by it and I've never read a good reason for them pulling out.

It would be nice to see Michigan being wooed by the candidates the way Ohio and Pennsylvania are.

Oh, and yes: those are the same guys from the Budweiser Commercial, and it's almost identical!

*lol* It's amazing that those guys got together again to do that! I wonder whose idea it was?

The poem was great. It is amazing how creative people are getting with the Net! Just a few more days and it will all be over. I don't like the polls either. I think they affect the vote and don't often reflect what's going on.
