JKR Creates Endowment for Multiple Sclerosis Research at Edinburgh Univ.

The Clinic endowed by author J.K. Rowling for the study of Multiple Sclerosis, an unfortunately common disease in Scotland, is now open in Edinburgh. This is fantastic news for sufferers of all neurological diseases. Of course J.K. I was definitively diagnosed with ms in Feb. of 1984 I Had no regressions that I recall. I was 78 last November. I can not move my lower body or legs. I have abduction in my legs. I have a large motorized wheelchair. I am bed bound and alone except for three hours every morning. I am very fortunate to have a very good caregiver. She is paid by In Home Support Services. I am most fortunate that she tries to feed me nourishing non-fattening meals. I give her two hundred dollars to spend for my food. She buys and cooks fresh meals every day. She baths me and washes my hair,three times every week. Most often Tuesdays,Thursdays and Saturdays. I have to be lifted by Invacare lift both to shower or to put me in my wheelchair. I have not been able to stand or sit for about seven and one half years(1907)I have been bowel incontinent for thirty years. I have been bladder incontinent about twenty years. I had to stop working in Jan of 1989. I am interested in anything that will slow or improve my situation. I did take
