Here Comes The Hobbit Movie

The Hobbit Movie opens on December 14! My family is excited, but I don't know if we'll go to a midnight show as we did with the last HP movie. We'll probably wait till Sunday and go to the matinee.

The kids in this video have Gandalf mixed up with Dumbledore, LOL, and
one of them describes Gollum as "Dobby Gone Bad."

didn't know there was a cartoon movie of "the hobbit"
knew there was one of "the lord of the rings" only the first half of the story, but they wisely decided not to make the second part because it was rather bad.

I will go see it Saturday. I'd have gone tonight, only I have to drive the kids to their father's tomorrow, and staying up half the night and then driving until after midnight the following night is NOT SMART.

I finally got to see it last night - what a treat! I loved every minute of it, but especially being back in Rivendell with the Elves. That was such a beautiful part of the movie. I also loved it when the Dwarves raided Bilbo's pantry, and just everything about Gandalf and Gollum. I want to see it again, of course.

I am seeing it again tomorrow night, in order to take the boys. Oh, the sacrifices we mothers must make...!

I loved the whole party scene, it had me in stitches. And then the ending with the dwarf song was such a great contrast.

The other thing I really liked was Thorin. The actor, and the added backstory and scenes for him. He;s not a book favorite of mine, but I like what they are doing with him in the movie.
