Tim Burton Turns Gothic Retro Into Vampire Slapstick

I have to admit that I am not a staunch Tim Burton fan. I like the movie Beetlejuice, but only after watching it many times over the years with my husband who thinks it is hilarious. I was fascinated by Burton's take on Alice in Wonderland and even accepted the Mad Hatter's scarecrow dance as some kind of nice Burtonesque-Halloween-ish-Crossover.

Af for the rest of it... ah? Well, I don't even know what to say. Or if I want to watch this or not. I'm not paying for the tickets, that's for sure. I'll borrow it from someone when it comes out. Maybe.
I've never seen the original and I dislike Tim Burton's humor, I'll have to think this over. Maybe I'll just go and watch the Addams Family instead.
