all those wizards casting their imaginary - not yet computer grafficed - spells and cursus does look a little silly.... a little... I hardly can imagine they kept a straight face at all.

Much the same way I do when I'm playing by myself in my kitchen?

OMG, the look on Snape's face as he's talking to Voldemort about the Elder Wand in the boathouse. You can see the fear building in his eyes as Voldy tells him "it ain't working". The scene where Snape and McGonagall face off...there are so many other touching scenes...but, the whole movie looks fantastic. If it's as good as these clips make it look, it's going to be outstanding. I just hope I can see it through the tears. *sniffle*

I see they have a scene with Percy returning to the fold. I wonder if there's something in the film showing his estrangement from the family and why Fred and George give him the look they do when he comes in behind them.

As for the "witches and wizards" casting their imaginary spells...that's what acting is all about. If we took any clips from any current CGI film nowadays and watched it without the special effects, it would look just as silly, if not more so.

The way Alan flips the cloak back and drops into duelling stance at the end of the second one is just making me squee, even though the camera rig is blocking him. I don't think we'll be seeing that from that angle in the finished film, though.

LOL @ him smacking the cables and dropping his wand.

Looks like that outfit is pretty hard to walk backwards and duel in. It's really designed to billow going forwards.

It's too bad this change in the scripting and staging means that we've apparently lost McGonagall's "Our headmaster is taking a short break" and/or "has done a bunk" lines, though.

I dunno what I think of Percy's look nowadays.
