I've been bad :(

For some reason, it's been a constant trial for me to keep an online journal going for more than a year. At this point I haven't even hit the one-year mark, and I'm already disappearing for long stretches of time. I'm not sure if this indicates a lack of resolve on my part, or an inability to stay a course for an extended period of time, or what.

I know what you mean about updating! It seems when I first started I was updating everyday, and now I'm lucky if I add anything in a week! It's good to hear you're alive and kicking! lol

^_^ Exactly! I suppose it's not really a bad thing that I'm not putting in five entries a day, but I feel like I'm being all closed-off and taciturn if I don't update at least once a week :P.

I've gone through streaks of not updating before, too, but I always come back. Part of it may be that it's about my only outlet right now, and writing always clears my head. I think the big thing is that it keeps me in touch with my distant friends. When they update...

Heh yeah, that's mostly the reason I've been feeling bad about not updating: those few people with whom LJ is my only mode of communication!
