I've officially hooked my mom on Mad Men, who suddenly realized I watch good TV. So now I'm under pressure to find the next thing to hook her on. The problem is I can't do High School Dramas (No VM, no FNL, no Freaks and Geeks) nor Sci-Fi (no BSG, no Firefly, no Buffy) nor things she already watches, like Dexter, Grey's Anatomy, etc. I'm thinking ( Read more... )

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

Best show of the 2006-2007 TV season. Too bad it got cancelled.

Ugh, I was so not a fan of Studio 60. Tried it out, liked it at first, then it just got annoying. Want a good show about sketch comedy: 30 Rock

I can't really compare the two shows. Both of them are amazing, but they take completely different angles on the same relative subject with completely different writing styles. I will say that 30 Rock is definitely a lot funnier than Studio 60 though.
