New shows!

Alright, new season, new shows. The Vampire Diaries was kinda weak. But Ian Sommerholder was fucking hot (way more so than on Lost!), so I'm totally gonna keep watching. ;) Melrose Place had something. More drive. Style. I think I might really like it ( Read more... )

:O How have you not heard of Glee?! It has been the talk of the town all summer, even my RL friend was like "There's Glee tonight!" and I was like "RLY? You're into Glee??!?"

The hype almost killed the start of the season for me tbh, but I still liked it. I'm glad you liked it too cuz YAY singing and dancing!

You guys suck, that's why. ;) I don't think you ever posted about it, nor did anyone else. *shrugs*

I can't wait to watch ep 2 tomorrow.

I get it though. Like I didn't post about SPN yet because I commented on my F-list and felt that was enough. But people who're not friends with the same people will never see that.

Haha, yeah. I wish I could sing like that! We didn't have any of those clubs at school though, so whatever they're about, I always wish I could have had that as well. (Even debate or those quiz clubs. It's just cool.)

I really loved Ian's hair and all his little evil smirks. It was definitely the right decision to cast him as the bad guy.

Glee is absolutely awesome! My Flist exploded with it over the summer after the pilot first aired but with one thing and another I didn't have time to dl/watch it then. Thankfully, one of the iPod comms had both eps up the other night and I finally saw them and I'm so hooked. I managed to find downloads for the songs and have had them on repeat ever since.

I really liked Vampire Diaries but that might have something to do with my longstanding crush on Paul Wesley. *lol* I agree about Ian looking hot. What is it about vamps that's so addicting. ;)

Yeah, I still have so much to catch up on and watch, I wasn't gonna start any new shows this season. But I think I'll rather just drop old ones. Like Desperate Housewives. I am still like 6 eps behind and it doesn't even bother me. Or Private Practice. I have half a season unwatched.

Where did you find the songs?

Paul Wesley looked familar, but I couldn't place him. I checked imdb but still don't really know where I know him from. All his shows I didn't watch. *shrugs* But yes. Vampires are always sexy! (Except for Peter Fascinelli. He was much better "alive". *lol*)

I wasn't going to watch any new ones either but as well as Glee and VD (unfortunate initials *lol*), I've also started watching Drop Dead Diva which is very cute. Speaking of, Devon is supposed to be appearing in one of the upcoming episodes.

A couple of them I found via torrents while others I got via Google searches. I can put them into a rar file and upload them if that helps. Just say the word. :)

I first saw him in a few episodes of Everwood - he was the bad boy - and thought he was pretty cute. Word about Peter Facinelli. ;)

Oh, I haven't watched Drop Dead Diva. Nor checked it out. What's it about?

I'd love to get the songs, so if you wouldn't mind uploading them for me, I'd be very happy! :D I watched ep 2 yesterday and loved those songs as well.

And riiight! Wasn't he the former druggie who was dating... uhm... Amy?

I just watched the pilot of The Vampire Diaries and it goes right on the list of shows I don't need to continue watching.

I've never heard of Glee and it doesn't exactly sound like my kind of show but now I might give it a try. :-)

The new shows I'm looking forward to most this season are Day One and Flash Forward.

I hope you like Glee when you check it out. I haven't heard of Day One or Flash Forward yet. Man, I really have to sit down some time next week and read summaries for new shows and start up a list. Or maybe I'll just rely on F-list recs... So much to watch, so little time. ;)

I watched the first episode of Glee and like I thought: Not really my kind of show.

Day One:
In the aftermath of a global event that devastates the world's infrastructures, a small band of survivors strives to rebuild society and unravel the mysteries of why the event took place and what the future has in store. Told from the point of view of an eclectic group of neighbors in a Van Nuys, California apartment building, this journey of survival will show us that hope is found in the smallest of victories and heroes are born every day.

Flash Forward:
A mysterious global event causes everyone to simultaneously experience, for two minutes and seventeen seconds, his or her life six months in the future. When it is over, many are dead in accidents involving vehicles, aircraft, and any other device needing human control. Everyone who survived is left wondering if what they saw will actually happen ( ... )

Oh, hey. Okay then. But cool that you checked it out at least. :)

And hmmmm, Day One sounds like Jericho, just maybe more patriotic and not so good. I dunno yet if I'll watch that.

Now Flash Forward I'll check out for Joseph Fiennes alone, no question. ;) Thanks for telling me about it!

I saw Glee Thursday night, I wanted to see the Spn live stream, but that didn't work. I suddenly had the idea to watch Glee. Everyone said it is awesome but I always thought it's something like High School Musical, so I wasn't interested in it. Well, I think the only time I was hooked that fast was Spn. Glee is great.

Yeah, it's a lot more ironic than High School Musical. And it's loser kids now, that makes it even more likeable. ;)

I wasn't even hooked to SPN that fast. I think the last show where I loved the pilot this much was Pushing Daisies.
