For this year's spn_j2_bigbang I again didn't get a fic ready on time. But then I realized, this doesn't mean I have to watch from the outside - I can sign up as artist! I've never done it before, but it was definitely fun!

I had the great pleasure of picking silveritas' awesome romcom-y fic 5000 Miles From Denmark.

Uh love this! Your drawings are amazing:D

And your translations are almost perfect:D
Yes google translate is bad with words with more than one meaning, but man is it useful sometimes;)
Kærlighed is the right translation for love:)
Besatte is a possible translation for occupied, but more in the sense of occupying a country, the right translation in this case would be "optaget".
But it doesn't matter, your drawings are still awesome and one definitely gets the meaning even without the words, and I absolutely love that you made the effort:D:D:D

Thank you! And damn, I re-translated besatte and it fit. But yeah, I had a feeling it might also be just the other kind. In German we have the same word, too though. For an occupied door or an occupied country. Optaget is a very useful word to know though, when in Denmark. ;) So really, thanks!

It could be a very useful word - especially if you happen to meet a danish prince Jared-look-alike:D

Guess a lot of danish and german words are similar, so I don't blame you for thinking it would be the same, I make that mistake all the time, when I try and fail to use german:s

Anyway like I said the word mix-up doesn't matter the art is still great.

Great work on these! Love what you did with the header in particular with the countries's shapes and all. Also, you rock at drawing beer bottles. Now I'm craving some.

This turned out way better than you had me imagining it was going too. I think you did a great job and your title banner so cute, you little hand drawn sketches are nice. Be proud of yourself your work paid off.
