Catching up with shows has landed me on Sanctuary now. Man, this show. Some episodes are really, really good, others are just so awfully bad. Musical episode on right now. Bad, very bad. It keeps making me cringe. I mean, the singing is okay, but the whole set-up and made-up reason for the singing? LOL! Tomorrow I'll cure my brain with Dexter. [

I thought the same when I was watching Sanctuary a few months ago. I've only seen like 5 episodes, and then I stopped because it didn't really convince me to keep watching. Out of the five, I only liked two episodes. Too bad as so many love it. :-\

For writing, I really want to get into it again, as well. Had to drop out of two challenges last year, which I never did before. So this year, I either not sign up in the first place or really go through with it!

It's strong when they have an ongoing storyline, like with Magnus' daughter and her ex or the friends from the past. The random MotW episodes are just not working. Especially when it's one of those 'yeah, I've seen that on every other scifi show already' episodes, like the one before the musical, which was "we enter a deserted station where everybody has killed each other, and get trapped while the virus/mind-control/creature slowly drives us crazy as well".

Yes! I had such a great track record before last year. It just bugs me. I really thought it'd get better once I started working. I never expected my job to be 41 hours of actual work per week. I'm not even signing into the office chat anymore because it's too distracting. My friend think I was on a super long vacation. LOL.

Some days, I'm absolutely baffled about the dwindling number and quality of the Supernatural fandom. But then, I can't even remember when I last read fanfic. So yeah, maybe those endless years of angels-story-lines are responsible? Or you are right and it might as well really only be LJ?!

I still read fic, but a lot less. But I guess this also coincides with the lack of recs. Crack_Impala used to do posts every day. Not anymore. *sighs*

I know a lot of people, especially artists, have really wandered off to tumblr though. And twitter for the random chatter/conversations. I really should read up on how tumblr works and find my goddamn twitter password one of these days. LOL. Then again, that doesn't help the icontests either. And I don't WANT to leave LJ.
