This is wonderful! I've never watched Burn Notice but I'm really enjoying Michael and Sam and Fiona, and their perspective on our boys. And your writing-style is brilliant. Nicely noirish for a spy thriller crossover. (Although could anything set in Miami be noir?)

It's weird, but the narrative tone of Burn Notice is definitely noir, even set in Miami.

So, I'm only about five sixish paragraphs in (because I SHOULD be editing, and then there is work, dratted work) but the voice in my head can't stop squeeing "THE TONE! THE TONE! IT'S EXACTLY RIGHT! IT SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE BURN NOTICE EEEEE!" in delight. I can HEAR Michael saying absolutely everything in the intro, down to the cadence and it's not so much distracting as FANTASTIC and I have to keep stopping because there are swift-cut scenes of fancy hotels and Miami skyshots going through my head.

Anyway RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED. More commentary later :DDDD

I just got done with this (took it on vaca with me, via Kindle.) Enjoyed the heck outta it! I don't watch much tv but I do catch Burn Notice now and again. I love outsider POVs, and Sam Axe is totally cuddly! :D. Great job!

I think this is the best crossover I have read. I can just hear Michael's descriptions of stuff in my head. You did a great job making the characters feel and act right.

Just wanted to stop by and say that this fic was AWESOME! I read it on my nook last night and loved it. Your Michael voice was so strong that I could hear it perfectly in my head as I was reading. I spent the last two months mainlining all seasons of Burn Notice on netflix and am in serious love with the show so this was a pleasure and a tremendous amount of fun to read.
