I'm procrastinating on my castielfest fic. I really shouldn't. I have a good idea for it, even if it hasn't all gelled in my brain yet. After swearing up and down after my summergen that I wouldn't do a crossover again, but apparently I lied. So ( Read more... )

I have no clue how you have all this energy to write! I'm happy you do, though. I have several fics written that I have to type, but I really don't feel like doing anything. No energy. I blame school. And laziness. And procrastination.

Having deadlines is really motivating for me. I've always worked well with them.

That sounds like it does work. I seem to work better on school projects when I procrastinate and wait until the last minute.

I am a fan of constructive procrastination.

For instance, when I was *supposed* to be html-coding my Big Bang, I instead produced 17K or so on my summergen and my deancasbigbang. *shrug*

Whatever works, right? ;)

I think the reason people are stressing over Summergen is that there's enough time to do so. It's a gift fic, so we want to do a good job, but we have many weeks. Commentfic, now, no one expects greatness.

I know, and I can't really talk as I tend to stress over gift!fic too, because I'm worried the recipient won't like it. However, I am a giant hypocrite and I want all my friends to be HAPPY AND RELAXED, DAMMIT because I know how fabulously talented you all are. :)

I have TIME TO WRITE. (Some, anyway.) I'm not horribly sick, and I'm occupied with work but not exhausted by it. Trust me, I'm having all kinds of fun. Can't speak for anyone else, though.

Arrg! Which ep is that icon from? I can remember it, but I can't place it!
