Uh, I don't see it. It's either a problem with your browser or mine. Can you tell me what it is you're seeing?

countless demons, between now and the end of the world, except he hasn't used it more than a couple of times yet

Sam's own responses are wrong for this time and place. Lust for Ruby, the desire for blood, the exorcism rolling off his tongue with far too much familiarity. And they saved Isaac but lost Tamara.

Exactly. I figured it was a little like muscle memory: Sam has been doing these things for months, sometimes years, and even though that time hasn't technically happened, well, his body remembers.

I felt twitchy about killing Tamara, especially given Show's propensity to kill off female characters, but in the end I decided to go with it as it was.

I think it was a great choice to kill off Tamara, increased that trapped feeling that all Sam ccould do was alter the details, that he wasn't really makinga difference.

All roads lead to Rome. The scenery changes, the destination doesn't.

Oh, I love Sam still having the addiction without the understanding that goes with it! That's awesome! I'm sad that Sam couldn't manage to save both hunters, that it had to be one or the other.

This story got very confusing very early on for Sam: the addiction is still there (I always figured it was a mental thing rather than physical, because of Ruby's insistence that Sam didn't need the "magic feather."), as is the heady feeling of power, of control, except he can't quite identify what it is.

I've said before that I felt squiffy about killing off Tamara, but I needed one of the two hunters to die, and I wanted to give the solid impression that, in spite of Sam's best efforts, he could only change the details and not the overall picture. But I was sad he couldn't save them either. I really liked Tamara in the series.

Dean needs hugs in this chapter. I like that he’s kinda grumpy, and it’s because he’s worried about everyone and freaking out.

Love Sam’s impressive lock-picking skills.

Ooh and I have a really random story that you don’t have to even read, but it’s exciting to me:) You know the actor who played Isaac (his name is Peter Macon)? I met him in May!! He acts in plays in Ashland, Oregon (I’m from Oregon) and I saw a play he was in. He’s pretty awesome, and I just thought of that when I was reading this. Anywho… Interesting how you killed Tamara instead of Isaac.

Dean doesn't deal well with stress. ;)

Sam's lock-picking skills are a SERIOUS kink of mine. Those HANDS. Guh.

And hey, that's really cool! I love spotting actors. :)
