Dude, I don't even know where you live. :D

Take a chapter out of the Winchester's book and take a flashlight?

I am in a galaxy far, far away ...

I think I might even have a flashlight in the glove box. Amazing! I can always brandish my keys as a weapon.

Honestly, the only thing waiting to get me right at the door should be Virgil the cat (MeowloveyoualloverFEEDME) and Max the dog (?? *dog smile* ??). I don't know how much protection they'd be.

I have a welcoming committee at the door too. They're useless at protection, but very sweet. ;)

See, I totally had things under control. I was just going to go LOOK at the meme and see what other people were writing, and then YOU PROMPTED WITH THE LABYRINTH MYTH and I was doomed.

I'm so pleased you liked it! It kind of veered away from where I thought it was going (I was trying for a slightly more literal adaptation, but it didn't work), so I wasn't sure anymore.

*bounces*

Greek mythology FTW! \o/

I'm going to be redundant and say the tension is what really got to me here. I was reading it lying down in bed on my iPod but had to sit up two paragraphs in. Really awesome job!
