I know, right? Everyone in this 'verse is broken. :(

OMG THE PROMPT HAS BEEN FILLED!! I love this so hard. Cas' callous yet loving anger, Sam's self loathing, the brokenness of the world?! Yessssssss! Thank you for filling my prompt, it's super duper awesome and I'm glad you did it in your End verse, it works so well XD

I'm so glad you liked it! I was a wee bit worried, but I always am when I fill someone else's prompt. So huzzah! \o/

Aww, I'm so glad!

Also, I don't know what Jared was thinking. He was there for Seasons 5 and 6, was he not? When both he and Cas declared that they were friends? When Cas threatened to kill anyone who wanted to hurt Sam? When Sam repeatedly asserted to Dean that Cas was their friend and would come through?

I don't buy it. I think Jared must have just not expressed himself properly. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. ;)

Anyway, I'm very pleased you liked it. Cas is really angry at everything, but he's fundamentally a good guy, and I think that he'll always come through in the end. Canon has showed this to us over and over again.

Heh. Jared's version is too simplistic for my liking. Cas knows that Sam wouldn't have freed Lucifer without the angels lending a helping hand, up to and including his own actions of opening the panic room door.

I can sort of see the jealousy angle, but the actual content of the show doesn't support that interpretation, if you ask me.

What constantly impresses me is the flavor of this 'verse, so different from your others. It's complicated and fascinating. I'm kinda addicted. Just a little.

Thank you! It is pretty different from my usual schmoop-with-a-side-of-angst 'verses, isn't it? More like angst-with-a-sprinkling-of-schmoop. ;)

I'm so glad you liked it!
