Danny gets the flu, but after Steve drives him home so he can get some much-needed sleep, his day gets a whole lot worse when his apartment building catches fire. When Danny goes missing in the aftermath, it's up to Steve and the team to find him, their search

I adore the details like his nest having one of Steve's shirts (and Steve so noticed) and how Steve knew he wouldn't want to be cuddled much when he's sick and how Danny knew how to deal with little girls in ferret form and Danny dreaming about ferret things. OMG tunnels! Shiny things! Wheee!

and now I so much want to see Grace interacting with Danny as a ferret. Let me know how I can bribe you for more of this 'verse after the holidays. ;-)
