So I've decided that for my own sanity I'm going to unplug for the first two weeks of December. I'm going to go 90% offline from December 3rd to December 18th inclusively. No Twitter, no LJ, with a couple of minor exceptions

Good for you! Everyone needs this, now and again. A reset. I take every Sunday off from the internet, to clean and hang with friends. I'm sure you'll get a ton done! We'll hold down the virtual fort. ;)

Yeah, I think I'm overdue for it. When I get back I'll be cutting back on the number of hours a day I spend online anyway, and try to reserve one day a week to be offline entirely, like you said. The internet is great, but it's all too easy to escape into it and never emerge again.
