One of my favourite quotes says: "Victory is not in what was gained alone, but in what was lost in the millions."

Everything we have comes at a cost, and it behooves us to remember it and honour those who sacrificed so much for us to have it.

There are more of us than you think. :)

I post this every year in both my journals. It seems like the bare minimum to do, to remember the sacrifices that were made so that I can enjoy the freedom I have now.
