This is so incredibly awesome and wonderful. I love how they argue and fight and how things go wrong, and why, and how Steve's reacting to all of it and basically every single word here I love. It's so real, and makes them seem more real that they don't always get along for actual, real, important reasons and yet they still love each other and want to make it work.

I adore that Steve can't say sex words when he's not actually having sex. ;-) He's so adorable! Big bad SEAL man can't say scary words. Heeeeeeeee!

I like that the resolution came naturally as well, that Steve wanted to make it better but had to wait until Danny was ready.

Thank you! I do not promise not to inflict you with more plots in the future.

I am SO pleased you liked it! You just reminded me when you tweeted that I always wondered when reading slash fiction why it was that the guys were always perfectly willing to swallow and also totally happy to give head at the drop of a hat. It stands to reason that there would be some aspects to sex that people wouldn't enjoy, right?

And yeah, I figured that Steve would have issues with talking about sex at all when not mid-coitus. After all, he would have had to keep it on the DL for years, which means talking in code or not at all. ;)

You are welcome to inflict plots on me at will. I am still dying over the image of ferret!Eliot and ferret!Danny running amok, but I haven't got more than a few sentences running around in my head with which to do it justice.

Nate isn't particularly surprised when, upon arriving at Honolulu's airport, they are pulled into a private interrogation room and greeted by what looks like the island's elite police task force. Nor is he surprised when Eliot is the one who steps inbetween the two teams, creating the protective and immutable barrier through which the cops won't be able to cross -- without, say, machine guns and from what Nate read, that's entirely likely. Although he doesn't see any, so he figures they're probably safe ( ... )

Sex isn't always perfect, but it doesn't mean the guys love each other any less. :)

Glad you liked it!

That was awkward and sweet and so realistic. And I, too, loved that Steve couldn't say the actual sex words when not having the actual sex. I would totally believe that about him, between DADT and being, you know, just Steve. And calling in sick for sex. Hee! That's awesome. =)
