Hee, this is so cute. I love all the little details, like Steve using his military training to build the world's best blanket fort and Grace taking after Danny in certain ways.

The BEST part about this is your Grace - she's young and scared, but at the same time so grown up in other ways. Very age appropriate, something that isn't always done well (even on the show). Such a good story!

Thank you so much! I try to keep kids age-appropriate as much as possible, because there's very little I dislike more than children who act far too young for their age. I have to watch myself, though, because sometimes I write very little kids a bit too old.

Oh, I'm really not worried. I do write outright Steve/Danny slash, after all, so people generally tend to read that into my gen fic as well. Can't really blame 'em. :)
