This was a wonderful story, I completely missed whatever I was watching on tv. I was a bit worried in the end though, I thought you would kill Sam and Dean. Which would have been fine too (but heartbreaking of course), but it felt good to finish reading with a smile =)

I would have warned (under greyed-out text, naturally) for death if I'd killed Sam 'n' Dean. This fic called for a happy ending, even if their troubles aren't over. :)
It was a lot of fun. I had them avoid the witch and all the "boss" zombies, because I was trying to keep the story within the bounds of the realism of the show rather than the game. The game has unlimited ammunition, and the characters routinely survive multiple zombie attacks, which just wouldn't work in the SPN universe.
I can imagine that soldier in the chopper telling someone about Dean Winchester and the word spreading to (what's left of) the FBI. That would be funny.
