Very, very nicely written. Creepy messages too at the end.

Thanks! I didn't think the end was too creepy: the Harvelles all got a hunter's funeral, in a way. Salted and burned. That way they won't become vengeful spirits and haunt the Winchesters. ;)

Oh, well, I completely misread it. *facepalm* I thought she was finally realizing that her attraction to Dean and John was Oedipal-based, and...yeah. Ha ha. *slides out*

*dies laughing*

Well, it could be read that way, I guess. I make no claims on my fic once it's out there, after all. :D

Thank you so much! I kind of wanted to give it a bit of a dreamy quality, so I'm glad that came through.

Love your icon. So very pretty! :)

Prettiest Jo icon I've seen.

I like the idea that Jo had a deeper maturity than she was able to show on the screen.

I always liked the notion that there was more to Jo than met the eye. She was so cool and competent during her introduction that I was disappointed when the show relegated her to "little sister" status when it came to the boys. I think that in spite of Ellen's misgivings, she would have made a pretty badass hunter in the end, if she'd survived.

I'm a big fan of the Harvelles, in case you hadn't noticed. ;)

I always felt that show could have done much more interesting things with Jo and Ellen, and I was really sad that they didn't show up at all in Seasons 3 and 4. There was a whole story there that went unexplored. Alas.

Glad you liked it! The pairing isn't one I would have picked up on my own, but I enjoyed playing with the summer/winter thing and trying to turn it a little bit on its head. :)
