A Vintage Classic

Last night's Vintage L&O was quite touching. I recognized some of the guest appearances though.

It is me or is Ben Stone's accent sounds Irish. I mean proper Irish.

Anyway, my dad watched L&O the other night and told me that Ben resigned because of a hit-and-run accident. I don't understand this really, but I think Hallmark is up to something.

The episode thing, there was a misunderstanding. clearbell knows more about Ben's departure.

My dad probably got a misunderstanding.

I read so much about Jack McCoy's character profile, and I'm very surprised.- I always thought of him as a laid-back kind of person but no, he seems to be a ladies' man!

Ben actually resigned because he forced a woman to testify against the Russian Mob, and she was killed as a result. But that episode does start with a hit-and-run accident, so that's likely where your dad got that idea from.

I always thought his accent was more American Midwest than Irish. (Even though Ben actually *is* part Irish.)

The episode was kind of different, it did start with a hit-and-run but I think my dad misunderstood what Ben said or got his actions incorrect.

And the accent thing, I love American accents. Ben sounder more Irish I think, or maybe the actor wanted to use his own accent because Michael is originally from Detroit. It's sounds cool though!
