The weather has returned to normal. We went to the beach today, to a place called Hat Head, which is a tiny town surrounded by National Park. From that point of view, it's probably the only place locally where coastal sprawl will not take place. Thoughts about little houses 50 metres from the beach are in my mind tonight

Hey, I saw in the news that one of the Riverdancers was killed in that Paris flight that crashed.....they are just now starting to find the bodies....I bet they sank with the plane and are just now starting to float up from the depths.
I thought yawl were into autumn...we are heading into out summer....yuck.....I'll be glad when its over....grin.

hey I was watching Animal Planet TV and they had a story about a group over there called the Pod...they would swim early in the morn....straight out, then cut back following the shore line....well...I thought everybody knew about great whites, especially down there....but the last two dudes were picked off by the shark....killed one, mangled the other.....I want to say it was near Queensland?? Had the name of the bar where they ate breakfast first...then swam......thats another no no...eating then swimming...but I'd say the sharks take preference, at least in my book...grin.

I just cut our back yard.......I had to go by the machanic's and pay him for work on my wife's vans' AC...to the tune of 687.47...ouch...new ac unit....geesh.
but ya gotta have it in this heat....today it was 96 at lunch time....I hate the summer....grin.
