Marcus is officially kicked out of uni as King's College are BASTARDS. Honestly, dealing with them is like dealing with a computer, it is so impersonal and weird, they don't actually care for their students. He never really got to appeal. Ridic ( Read more... )

Nah, it's too late, he tried to appeal and it didn't work out as the rules on appealing are too stringent. No hope I'm afraid! He's not too worries, but it is pretty piss poor of King's!

It was basically cos in first year (of a different course than he started at uni with so he is a year behind me) he missed an exam due to illness, but still got 30% in the module from his coursework and believed it was that you could graduate with no module under 30%. So he thought it was fine and they let him into second year, so it seemed first year was ok. Then he had a resit and didn't pass, but didn't revise as he had already passed first year. Then the same happened this summer, and he failed again as he didn't revise as he had 9 other 2nd year courses to pass and thought gaining a few marks in a first year course when they are capped at 40 was pointless anyway. So he failed again, and yet they claim he took the exam 3 times just because he didn't had in a doctor's note the first time, which he got anyway. So basically he tried to appeal, but the King's system is biased and you can't say that in hindsight you were ill, BUT you can say in hindsight you were being racially or sexually abused, of course. To cover their smarmy arses ( ... )

Oh forgot to mention because it was actually 33% he needed, so basically he was thrown out for 3% of a first year uni course....
