I asked. A device was used that measured the amount Nucleolingua Symbiotica in the DNA and then isolated and drew off the relevant chains.

I would still like a sample of it to run some tests. even if I don't discover anything, it might help with restoring his regenerations.

[Lots of hesitation here, because there are lots of bad things one Time Lord could do to another given a full copy of their genetic code...but he trusts Omega, even if he doesn't trust Rassilon any more, and he wants his regenerations back and he's willing to take risks to do it.]
