They're only gonna make one more, and it's gonna be about Two-Face. I would like to see them take on a few other characters, but I think 3 is a good amount. There will always be the old more "comic-y" Batman movies for the rest.
Yeah, this was supposed to be the lead in where you saw how Harvey Dent became Two-Face. There's nothing confirmed on this, but that's the popular rumor going around.
I agree, I think it went on way too long and just when you were thinking it was over, here we go again with yet another dramatic scene...it left me exhausted. I think it was pretty decent, Iron Man was better but again too long and drawn out.

The way the style of these particular Batman movies are going, you're going to have to be very careful which villain you bring into the mix. I think the Riddler would be very difficult to do and still keep the seriousness of the films thus far without the slightest sense of hokey. They pulled it off with the Joker, but a Harley Quinn would more than likely have to show up with the Joker if that happened, which isn't likely now (may Heath rest in peace). Catwoman, in my opinion, would be the easiest villain(ess) to bring in and still keep the "serious" dark mood and believability the last two have kept. But you'd really have to work on that edge the Joker had to keep the same feel the last two films had. Two-face would be good, but...didn't he die when he fell over the edge of that building being constructed? Personally, I think Two-Face would be an awesome bad guy for the third. Maybe bring back Scarecrow. He was kinda cool. By the way, I know we're not friended on LJ, so I hope you don't mind me commenting. :)
