Passionate Night

One glance across the room was all it took for them to realize that this was It: the end of their lives as they knew it and the beginning of a beautiful, passionate, life-long love affair.

They told their children the tale over and over in front of the gently crackling fireplace, taking turns at recreating the scene: her adorably flustered verbal keysmashes; his manly, romantic squelches and secretions.

"They told us it would never work," she fondly recalled, and her twenty children smiled gleefully. "But we proved them wrong, didn't we, darling?"

Her significant other squished tenderly in acknowledgment, then added another wet squelch that brought tears to his wife's eyes.

"Oh, Blobfish!" Snuzz gasped, and drew him in for a passionate kiss, clutching desperately to his gelatinous folds. The children - all twenty of them - realized that this was their cue to retreat to their aquariums for the night.

And such a loud, passionate night it was.

"Your music sucks."

Tezuka sighs inwardly and looks over his shoulder to stare emotionlessly at Kirihara.

"There is absolutely nothing wrong with t.A.T.u," he replies, trying to use his latent brain powers to just get the other boy to shut up.

But, of course. No such luck. Kirihara merely stares back from where he is, perched cross-legged in the middle of Tezuka's purple-sheeted bed.

"Uhhh... No," is the sharp rejoinder. "There's everything wrong with t.A.T.u."

Tezuka turns fully around and leans back against the dresser, crossing his arms and trying his best to look stern in the face of such an elfin pout.

"Such as?"

"Such as - like - " Kirihara waves his hand dismissively. " - Like they're just stupid! And girly! And - "

The next bit is too fast and low for Tezuka to hear.

"What was that? - No, slower. ...And louder."

Akaya sighs in exasperation.

"I said - and if you don't get it this time, screw you! - Said that that Lena chick and whatsherface aren't good 'cause it's not - not good - It's not make-out music, you stupid

Perfect Presents

For once in his life, Yanagi Renji had absolutely no idea what to say.

And so he simply settled for, "...Akaya. What is this?"

The younger boy smiled brightly up at him.

"Jello!" he replied, as though it was the most natural thing in the entire world.

Which it wasn't.

And once again, Renji just... blanked.

"Jello."

"Jello!"

"...Akaya."

"Yeeeees, senpaaaaai?"

"...This is the school pool."

"Yup! Isn't it awesome?" Kirihara was very, very obviously proud of himself, smiling brightly enough to power a small car.

"...Did Masaharu help you with his?"

"Eeh?! No way! I mean, except for how I forgot how to turn on the air conditioning and he had to help me out but seriously, the whole thing was my idea
