Woof, woof, boo, hoo. [UPDATE]

Our dog, Gretel, is having minor surgery tomorrow morning to drain a hematoma in her left ear flap, but judging by my mother's reaction, I'm more likely to believe that the dog is being put to sleep. Zachary found the water-balloon-like blister yesterday morning and brought it to the attention of my mother, who had the vet on the phone and a ( Read more... )

Hey I just read your latest 'Crooked Truth' entry. Matthew and I were just discussing this like yesterday. I always say my life would be so less fusturating if I didn't have to wait on people. I don't mean wait for replies or answers, but for then to help with my laundry so I have clothes to wear or wait for my mom or dad to help with dressing.... and my house isn't accessible on the inside, we have a ramp going into the back door but a 2 story house. So it's nice to know my fusturation; isn't just me...

Anyway hey so what's going on with NYC? Matthew said he mentioned that you and him and aaron were going to try and meet up and check out NYC.

Good Luck for your dog tomorrow.

Love,
Morgan

I encourage you to copy/paste the first part of your comment to The Crooked Truth. I'll make me look like I have a following.

And yes, there had been talk of Dobler and me staying with Matt then heading to NYC for a day. The plan was looking really great at first, but now I don't think there's going to be enough time. I'm busy for the next three weekends, and Aaron works on weekends and prime weekdays. We're keeping it an option, though. I guess I should tell Matt all of this, huh?

Never mind what Aaron does for work.

Aaron does whatever Aaron has to.

Aaron gets results.

Excuse me, sir? The claw machine is jammed and won't release that generic stuffed "Scooby Doo" that I spent $3.50 trying to grab. I plan to sell this toy at a yard sale, but I'm not sure the proper ordinance for holding the event. Can you help me? All proceeds will go to buy a doggie wheelchair for Trooper. How 'bout some results?

My kitty (may he rest in peace) had one of these during his fat cat life. They messed up and waited too long to take the stiches out and they kinda grew in a bit, which made him very unhappy. But everything worked out and he had an ear kinda like a boxer when they don't get them pinned after it was done.

Aww. When I was young, I used to throw pennies in the fountain outside of Kaufmann's, and all I would ever wish for was a pet cat.

aw, that's kind of sad. I never pictured you the animal person but kitties are fun! My kitty wasn't very friendly though. I totally remember that fountain! I think every child threw about $3 worth of spare change in it throughout their childhood. (mainly in pennies)

Not sad -- I eventually got my wish. While I still do not consider myself an animal person per se, I'm not anti-animals. I like schnauzers and cats, but not yappy little dogs, ferrets, fish, birds, hamsters, rabbits or spiders. Ha -- I guess you're right after all.
