I can breathe A-OK when I'm sitting up and awake. If I can make it with a mask and a ventilator at night, that beats surgery in my mind.

The cool thing about the new machine will be that she can sleep anywhere: a bed, a table, a floor, a desk, etc. So if you want the bed, just move her on over. It'll be a whole new kind of freedom for her...the freedom to "crash" anywhere at will. But yeah, knowing Rach, you should plan on sleeping on the floor.

Dobler.

I do like to sprawl out all over the bed, and I toss and turn a lot. Mhm. After last night, the only thing cool about the BiPAP is that I can sleep in bed with you, Precious. And that's worth giving it another chance. The lung has never held me back from anything; after all, it is a Porta-Lung.

You're showering right now, and you're late for the Valse show. I hope it goes more than fairly well and want to hear all about it tomorrow. I'll [try to] call you in an hour or so to say goodnight.

I love you.
