Three things I'm currently thinking:

1. I love the chemical smell of the inside of a Sephora store.

2. Girls with short hair are almost always very cute.

3. OMG people PLEASE get over and shut up about Harry Potter.

annoyed, random

Heh. I preordered the book as a gift for my mother, but found out that she much rather want the paperback. Quite a few people who don't know the story aren't all that happy to find out that I'm getting my money back for the book. ;)

You could've sold your hard-cover copy and made a pretty (Canadian) penny!

You mean off of eBay? I haven't touched my account on that in years, and have never sold anything on there anyways so I wouldn't have any feedback.

I suppose I could get the book on Monday (the store in question is closed Sat and Sun), but I'd imagine I wouldn't get enough profit to be worth the effort.

I couldn't agree more. But a number of folks on my flist are those people. So I've just been avoiding the topic.

I saw news stories on people dressed up and standing in line at night to get the book. I just don't get it. At all.

Dare I say that Harry Potter fans may have surpassed Star Wars fans in their level of crazy? I think I do dare.
