Matching is still running. We have gotten in touch with AO3, and they're working with us to try and resolve the issue.  I will be editing this post with updates instead of spamming the community, so just keep checking here.

Is the deadline still the same, or will it be pushed back so the length of the writing period can remain the same?

We're totally open to pushing it back. The updates that are supposed to fix this issue are scheduled for next week at AO3. They're working with us to resolve this issue sooner, though, so we're just waiting to see how delayed this all ends up being. But yes, you all will have more time to write. :)
