Soooo creepy and wonderful! The juxtaposition of the children's rhyme makes it even more sinister. I never thought of Severus being fixated on redheads, rather than just Lily. But this makes sense, in a twisted, sick way. Really good job.

Thank you, mystery author! I'm pleased you chose this pairing to tackle! I really love the motivations you've given it. I particularly love the first person point of view; I think the tone is great! The first two sections are my favorite.

And I love where you've set it in the time line as well! Actual Death Eater Snape is awesome.

Inculding the rhyme into the whole is was even better; very clever idea, and I like how it all weaves together.

I echo swissmarg: creepy and wonderful. I love the way the story is tied into the canon events, especially the explanation for Gideon and Fabian's deaths.
