Bryce smiled warmly at the sound of his voice, within seconds she was on her feet, and ran towards him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, careful not to hit him with her bulky cast. “This seems to good to be true.” She murmured into his shoulder, taking him in. She pulled back slightly, and surveyed him. He looked miserable.

“I love you.” She said, before showering small kiss onto his lips, and cheeks. “Please don’t leave me again.” She pleaded between kisses.

Bryce nodded, lacing her fingers between his, before leading him into her house. “You look terrible. Are you hungry, babe?” She asked glancing up at him, staying close to his side.

Once they stepped into the house, Bryce gasped in surprise as she caught a glimpse of Gabby, her mother standing in the hallway. Her arms crossed defensively against her chest. "This is who you were waiting for?" Gabby spat, clearly disgusted by Fi's appearance.
