there is no need to develop anything new. Diskless linux are already available and in use. usually diskless nodes requires a server from where they can fetch the kernel image at the time of booting. we can give the server as a real internet server :P.. now as u rightly pointed the issue of internet connectivity, what i think is, there is no need to have internet connectivity 24x7 Once your whole account is dumped into your ram, life is beautiful. as and when u want to submit any changes in your work, try to connect to internet, or else take a backup of such data in USB/flash drives :D now, as u may be thinking, when pc boots from intenet, it will take hell amount of time, but this can be avoided by applying selective booting, meaning whatever you want to load from internet, it will load it first, so that you can start your work, and once that is loaded, the remaining things can be loaded later on request OR in parallel while you are working..

does it make any sense??? :P
