The way that they said it at first, the non-jaded side of me hoped that they were against PDA as a whole, but then the end dashed those hopes away. :P I agree with you, though- there's no way a straight couple would be asked not to give a quick kiss on the lips or whatever. I would go protest as well. It's ridiculous.

It's gotten a bit lazy, but it's there... and whenever it gets tooo lazy Derick's inner activist kicks it in the ass. Sometimes it's exhausting, but it's also cool to see him in a place I was a few years ago- angry as hell and wanting to do *anything* to fix these problems, you know?

DUDE, that is just about 20 minutes away from me. As for lesbians in Grandview, whatever were they there in the first place? It kind of is the toilet of the area.

I agree that this wouldn't have happened had this been a straight couple. I can't help buy wonder what management would do if I complained the cook being hispanic or a woman. Everyone know how to swim? This country is a sinking ship.

With the recent comments by USMC General Peter Pace, the renewed assault against homosexuality by the Pope, the beating of Kevin Aviance and this IHOP situation make for some very bold, divisive headlines concerning gays. I wonder how this will affect the political climate in relation to candidate platforms and elections. I find the sudden rash of pointed coverage conspicuous.
