Deathly Hallows reaction:warnings to spoilers

Wow. Finally finished the book about 15 minutes ago. Just. WOW.

I don't even know where to begin.

The ending! WOW. I guess everyone on fandom has suspected Harry of being a Horcrux and it was awesome to find out that some of our speculation was right, like RAB etc. But JKR's way of putting them into context completely threw me off. It was ( Read more... )

hey nice to meet you! I didn't like the epilogue either. it was so...urgh. and the names..the names...oh well. all i can say is we'll be getting a lot of Albus Severus/Scorpius relationships from now on aka. AS/S.

*friends back and hugs*

Yeah, the book is controversial and yet mindblowing! I see a lot of Dumbledore/Grindelwald slash...

Oh it was definitely mindblowing. i really didn't know what to think of it after reading it. it was probably her best book, imo. quite awesome.

As for the Dumbledore/Grindewald...god that book was screaming of it, wasn't it? and the Trio-ness. ahhh. i was tempted to write trio while i was reading it. and i am officially in love with snape now. hehe.

I almost cried for Snape. How could she be so cruel to him? He was my fav character from the start... That line with Lily was a bit predictable (truth be told, I'm not a huge fan of het), but it was a tear-jerker anyway.

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW, the book was absolutely amazing, though it had faults of its own. I'm glad that you liked most of the book. :)

I still think there's chance for DHr after the seventh book. JKR's left many windows.

THANK YOU!! I almost didn't believe in that for a bit, but yeah, there's definitely possibilities. Yay open-minded-ness!

Aww, I'm sory about Voldy--I felt pretty much the same about Draco throughout the whole book. I kept hoping that Draco would "turn good", but I really shouldn't have. I knew who Draco really was, and it was wrong of me to expect so much out of him, gah.

I look forward to the fanfictions coming out in the next few months.

Me, too. :)

hey hoshi-chan!!! i feel like i know you from your review, lol.

i was expecting a bit more of draco too. And yes!!! im dying to know who he married, although that epilogue completely killed it for the dramione fans. oh well...just ignore it...lol.

and yes i supposed being dead does allow you to see the bigger picture. i still wish harry hadn't forgiven dumbledore though. it seemed so...meh. i mean this is the man who betrayed you for gods sakes! raised you to be butchered!! and you name your kid in his name?!?!?1

yeah...i had some serious issues with that part...and how voldie died...wahhh my precious precious dark lord!!

*wails*

And definite yes to the uniting Slytherins. Overall I thought JKR did a great job with unity in this book, from all the magical creatures and the wizards working together etc. but that scene with the Slytherins...urgh. it just didn't sit well with me.

*squees over fanon!blaise*

I love canon!blaise too though...beautiful chocolate covered blaise...wahhh *drools and collapses*
