God, this is gorgeous. I wanted it and didn't want it, if that makes sense - now my romance with them is over, and I wish it could go on endlessly. *sighs*
I love this whole story, and this is the best ending to it that I could possibly have asked for (because you write to my whimsy, you know).
Oh gosh, I can't even describe how much I enjoyed this story. It was long, sweet, and satisfying. You do an amazing job with metaphors and description--after reading it all, I have this overwhelming impression of hazy, nostalgic sensations, and color.
The pacing was outstanding as well. You found the perfect balance; the story never felt rushed, and nor did it ever drag. I am *impressed* by that, especially for such a long story!
Thank you so, so much for writing my favorite--by far--Winnix fic I have yet to discover. *mems*
Thank you so much for ending the fic on a positive note.
I loved it. Loved the slow pacing (that first awkward kiss), your character voices and writing style.
I'm usually not very fond of AUs but when I started reading yours, I was sucked in after the first paragraph. I'm soo lazy to quote all the lines I liked, but the ones like "he'll recall a smile that was a country onto its own, language and geography unique" are reason enough to rec this fic.
I don't know. I didn't know if you'd take it as a positive or negative ending. Not like I pulled a Dallas and went "Whooosh! It was all a ~dream~!" but I still was nerviosa...Okay, then go read profcricket's coda Eighteen. I love it to bits. X)

Thank you! And whimsy away, I say. :) 'Cause now I got to find something else to busy myself with.
