Sounds like you're half way between being home sick and sick of home. Being consumed by your art only means your strengthening your own career. The harder you work, the better the outcome. Noone will drop you as a friend cause your not around. Shit, I'm happy you're off doing your own thing.

Personally, I miss you, but at the same time I realize you're better off where you are. Give me a call sometime, I'd like to hear from ya.

im totally with kevin. somehow i doubt the fair weather friend portion applies to me since well . . . i miss you every day.

i dont think everything around here will crumble completely. but that's just my opinion.
