I might...but...I don't know. It will all come down to my classes and how much work I have in them. Probably going to go one day at least since I love checking out the dealers room. ^^
Really wish I had time to whip up some cosplay, but I have no clue what I would go as. Took me a good two months to get my cosplay together last year. Man....it would be so cool to be a professional cosplayer....I've always loved playing dress-up. XD
you should just use the same costume. It's kinda lame but better than nothing! Lynda's gonna be wearing my shyguy costume I think, and I'm going as "generic drow rouge #3295323 who doesn't have red eyes because they don't make the contacts in my prescription"
I'd like to use the same one, but I'm not sure my hair would work for it anymore. >.< I'm thinking of going as Tashigi from One Piece instead. Really simple costume. Hardest bit would be the jean jacket she wears, but I bet I can find that somewhere. Heading to Good Will tomorrow, so I'll report back later!
lol... I've only been to one con. I did buy a bunch of stuffed animals the final day, but other than that I did NOTHING but walk around and get my picture taken.
I had a metal sword last year but they made sure that it wasn't sharp and when they realized that it easily fell out of it's scabard they tied it shut. They also make you sign this paper that says you won't attack anyone with it. I'm not sure completely about it, but they might say something on the website.
I'm pretty sure they make you tie ribbons or whatever around your weapons to show you won't attack with it. It's not like I even know how to use the damn thing, it's just a prop. It's not sharpened either, that costs extra.
And YEAH I like it. I want to model some spiders on the base of the hilt or something but I doubt I'll have time... so that will be for next time. ^^
