Shooting at New Life Church in Colorado Springs

Earlier today, one or more gunmen shot up New Life Church in Colorado Springs. I don't have any particular love or hate for this church (Colorado Springs' own Six Flags Over Jesus), but it's very important to my family. My stepdad was recently appointed as one of the pastors there, and I know Mom does a lot of volunteer work for them

I confess, when I first heard there were church shootings I didn't know where they occurred (wasn't really paying attention to the news at a friend's, it was just on and 'church shootings' caught my attention) and made a tasteless joke.

Knowing now that your family was involved... it's really not funny.
I'm sorry to hear they had to experience that.
