Richard... I'm so sorry to hear that you've left us but all I've been thinking since seeing the news was that at least you were able to enjoy this final trip, riding your final carousel.
You were the first fursuiter I'd really gotten to know when I found the fandom, you helped get me involved in mascoting. I will miss our friendship, you will be missed :(

I always admired your enthusiasm when you were out in public, the way you brought your character to life, and how you got to live your own life exactly as you wanted. Well done, sir. Well done.

I was privileged to be a guest on your show with my puppet character; Sebastian for his "audition" on your show. It was great going to the diners and talking about cable television on the days before the internet and having fun in Coney Island and even going to see "Avenue Q" with you. You were a friend, unique, and someone who lived the you wanted to.

You will be dearly missed.
