The original plan was that Gaeta physically resembles "The Master" and might be a bastard kid. "The Master"? Is the Doctor's nemesis. THere are some problems with that. Not the least of which is the extinction of the time lords.
Oh, this is even better than Part 1! I really enjoyed this!
I love the implicit comparison between the way Adama cares for his people and the way Ten does. Felix just knows he's expendable, while Rose immediately assumes that the Doctor is out there somewhere, working on a plan to save her. *sniff*
I kind of wish that Felix would decide to say frak the Fleet and go off with Ten and Rose. I mean, I guess he'd miss Dee, but really, he'd have such an interesting time traveling the universe with the Doctor, and he's such an introvert, that he'd probably never get lonely enough to care that he left all those guys who wanted to flush him out an airlock and just generally underappreciate him.
PINKEYE???? Serious LOL. Once I got what was going on with everybody rubbing their eyes, I was so amused. And I loved poor Felix's determination to live up to his oath and destroy the Cylons. Rose's reaction was rather hilarious.

In fairness to Bill, he really had no real way to rescue the kids he left behind. And Felix is an officer and yeah... it 's what he signed on for....
Felix does get to travel about a bit - we dont see his adventures on the show exactly - but he had a nice time.....

Gaeta is secretly the controller of the universe! A doctor in a past life!
