So last night was pretty crazy. We were invited to play a private party at the ol' Shish, so we said yes. Adam and I bought a 30 pack of Miller High Life and there are six left. The show was okay. Some people were into it, and some people totally didn't get the point. Let me make this as clear as possible...

some dj's are ALSO musicians. spooky, shadow, kid koala, etc.. The turntable is their medium to create, improvise, compose. beat matching, sampling loops, making smooth transitions between songs etc are what defines a traditional DJ. a disc jockey. someone who plays a recording is a dj. Someone who creates an original recording is a musician.
