Loved the Steve/Tony cuddlepic. It made me want to go lie down on a sofa and sleep. Except we have a houseguest, so that's not going to happen.
I read through the Skyfall analysis. It was interesting to read such a love letter to a movie I saw twice and didn't enjoy, mostly for precisely the reasons the author loved it. I really just watched it the second time because our houseguest had DLd it for my husband.
I'm not sure how I would have felt about Skyfall if I had been unspoiled for it when I watched it the first time. As it was I had read reams of fanfic based on it first and there were a lot of moments that had inspired favorite bits in those stories and I enjoyed seeing the source.
I didn't like it nearly as much as I did the second time through after I had watched Die Another Day for the first time. There's some really strong echos between the movies that added a layer to Skyfall that wasn't there for me before even though I think the two movies are in different universes from one another.
It may be one of those stories that work best with context beyond what we were given on the screen.
