I'm so terribly excited to only be working three days this week! Although since my last full day off was the 10 (but I spent that cleaning out the garage and re-doing landscaping so I totally don't count that so we'd have to go back to the 5 as the last day I had off) the excitement is fully justified ( Read more... )

I didn't want to be presumptuous my dear. Also, I was waiting til you got home from your trip and had a moment to decompress after all that travel (Detroit sounds horrible). I'll send it out to you later today/tomorrow then shall I?

just send it when you can & I should turn it around in a few days.
With the various delays I spent 49 hours in total travelling there & back for 84 hours in Vegas but they were 84 awesome hours! I'll post about the weekend when I'm not jetlagged to hell!

That is a damn lot of travel time! But I agree that it must have been totally worth it. I'm looking forward to your post.

Aha! I knew some one else had a duck tattoo, I just didn't remember who! My original idea was smaller, but the artist came back with this design and I thought, why not? The cost was the same regardless of size (all the shops round here charge by the hour now)

I'm already planning what other designs I wanna get and how much they potentially will cost! I knew I wouldn't be able to stop at one!

ouch is right *shudders* I've had my tongue, navel, ears & eyebrow done. All I have left is the eyebrow and I can't imagine getting anything else done. More power to ya babe!

Hahaha I just sent you a whole reply about your tattoo ideas and then I see that YOU GOT ONE ALREADY!! You know, the duck suits you. Awesome, baby! I really like the shading on it, the almost-shadow lines it has. Very cool.

Yeah, the ankle hurts a lot. The BFF was talking to my tattoo guy about places that hurt the most and he told me not to get my ankles done ever, because my ankles are the boniest freaking part of my body. I am a wuss, I went with the arm, it's the least painful.

The Boy's lineup sounds most excellent. I love that Katy Pery song. And I love Sinatra, so I'll be interested to see who can pull that off. Though, when they do Space Cowboys, they should dress up like this...Yeah, boys

I even went to the tattoo place alone! Aside from the pain of the actual tattoo, the whole experience was pretty stress free. I should be able to get any more work done without having to find someone to go with me. I'm looking forward to having work done somewhere with more flesh so it'll hopefully hurt less.

I decided that the tats don't have to be meaningful, just something I'd like. Especially since no one but my room-mates ever see my bare legs I don't have to explain my choices to any one.

lol, I don't think we can talk the choir director into Star Trek cos-play. I can't wait to see their routine this year. They've got a debut show in december for the parents and then competition season starts in january. I've got my fingers crossed for the kids to do well.

Because I got the tattoo for my one-year-drug-free, The BFF didn't hesitate to say she would go with me. It was nice because I was so nervous. You are freaking amazing to go by yourself!! Anyway, The BFF has been thinking of getting one done, so I think it helped her to see me have mine.

I have lots of ideas for tattoos and a few of them have to do with story ideas I have - like the tats the characters in the story have in my head. One of them is a story I have been thinking about since I was like 14. I keep telling myself if I ever write one of these stories, I can reward myself with the tattoo to go with it.

I keep telling myself if I ever write one of these stories, I can reward myself with the tattoo to go with it. That's a pretty cool idea. My problem is I have big ideas and that translates into lots of money and time under the needle!
