I meant to post this last night. But between getting home from work, eating a quick dinner, taking The Boy to choir practice, grocery shopping, picking The Boy up from Choir practice, putting everything away, all I had time for was to look the computer and go, 'I'm to damn tired for this ( Read more... )

We have at least one school here in town that teaches Latin, but it is a Catholic school, so that is why. It is still too bad I don't live closer to you, bb - I would be happy to take The Boy shoe shopping so you wouldn't have to. We'd have a blast! (I could not very easily afford to keep the ever-growing little brother in shoes - seriously size 13 at age 13 - but I absolutely loved shoe shopping with him. He has a bigger thing about shoes than I do!)

I loved that Up Up Up song! I listened to it twice in a row. It was so much fun! I also really liked the last one like a lot.

I thought it was pretty weird a public school still taught Latin, but whatever. It fulfills his language requirement and he's enjoying it. And since it's the base language for all the romance languages (French, Spanish, Italian) it will give him a grasp of them at least.

The Boy has a thing for name brand shoes. He wants Converse and Doc Martin and some other brand of running shoe I can't remember. I'm all like 'but these are on sale!' I like spending time with him, so shopping isn't a total loss.

Isn't that Up Up Up great? It's so wonderfully fun and bouncy. I just don't hear music like that very often. And the last one, Limousines -busy people, I love the lyrics to distraction myself.

Converse rule! They don't offer enough ankle/arch support for me which is too bad because I could live in them.
