Damn that must be the saddest way to loose a game.

I recall a semi similar thing in the NFL. Someone catches a ball and falls down in the process, and the defense trying to avoid getting a late hit penalty jumps over the fallen WR. Everybody starts to go to the sideline or something. The WR however gets up - having never been touched by a defensive player - he's not "down" so he starts running for the end zone. It was so amazing and so crazy wild. It was the Colts - can't recall who it was against.

I'm not a huge sports fan so I'm no help there. :)

However living with Mr. Every-Other-Word-Must-Includes-Sports-Talk I have been forced to at least try and act like I give a frak. Reality is, unless its really a stand out play like that one, I have zero interest. I would probably feel different if it wasn't 24/7; but there is only so much a woman can take.

I don't drag him to shopping malls, so why should I have to suffer with sports. *we'll just ignore the fact that I hate shopping malls myself, thats neither here or there* *giggle*

Been thinking of you. I hope you are starting to feel better. Hugs.

Don't know much about American Football but this sounds very like what has been happening in our UK Premier League Football this season. There have been so many matches won in the dying seconds or in the exta minutes added on for injury time. Feel like making my team a banner that says 'you're supposed to actually play until the referee blows for time'. I have two sons who support different teams and a son-in-law who supports yet another one so you can imagine what Saturday's are like!!
