I deeply regret posting the spoiler to the final episode of Robin Hood on Thursday.  As worthless as an apology is at this point, I could not let anyone think that their feelings are being ignored ( Read more... )

Don't blame yourself, blame the leaking of the spoilers from the BBC and the early release of the DVD. People are bound to talk about stuff they are fascinated with. It was unfortunate that you wrote about something you and we were interested in.

LJ is voyeuristic and a window to peoples lives, if you had blogged about a sadistic wife beater or that your house was about to be repossessed you would have had people reading the whole entry and all the replies too without bothering to comment.

I don't follow that show, but I normally avoid spoilers. I didn't in the past but was hugely spoiled about a plot that kind of took out the fun of a show for a while. But I saw your post on Robin Hood. I don't know if you'd already edited it at that point, but as far as I noticed the post read SPOILER. If I was a fan of the show, didn't seen the latest episode(s) or generally didn't want to get spoiled I would stay away from that post all together. If you still read on or watch what ever clip posted -it's your own fault! You have been warned.

Even if some ppl did feel spoiled without warning - don't beat yourself up! However much you love it - it is *just* a tv show. If being spoiled about that can upset you so much that you'd rather lose a friend over it then I'm not sure it was a friendship worth keeping in the first place.

Basically - don't beat your self up. Don't hate yourself!

*hugs*

I don't blame you hun!!!! Please don't think that - I was just so glad I'd resisted the urge to read the spoilers for the final ep and there was your post with "Guy's Death" in the title!

However, it's only a TV show and certainly not worth losing a friend for! *huggles*

Don't worry Carole... It's not all that important an issue. Most people are fine with it already, and those who aren't... well, I wouldn't worry too much about them. Take care of yourself,

Lila

Don't know if you know this community, but I saw some icons of a certain man you seem to fancy and wanted to make sure ;)
