Help! Disturbing new behavior

Hey there, folks, I have a question about some new behavior in my basenji mix. I posted about her in the now-defunct dogtrainers community, but she's started something different that I need as much help with as possible ASAP

Hi (I'm from the training communities, hope it's okay to comment here), something to take into account is the Basenji in her. They are a primitive breed (not that domesticated), more like cats than dogs and definetly not the easiest breed in the world. Great dogs for the right people but not for everyone

Wow, that really helps, thanks. We've done some research on the breed and their characteristics (she is VERY catlike at times) but hearing it from another human about their experiences really helps. We try to make sure she knows the pecking order by making her do something for EVERYthing, but she is very stubborn. I also have a JRT, another stubborn breed, so it makes life interesting (but also hilarious) in the house sometimes. :-)

Stubborn sounds quite right. As a person who likes "easy" dogs I can't say I envy you ;) Truthfully I really like terriers, there was a group of JRTs in my old stable and they were the cutest little things.
